What The Instructors Are Saying 💌
-
“Teaching at RLT changed my life and opened doors I didn’t expect. I feel fully supported, like my leadership always has my back, and I only have to focus on teaching because everything else is handled. Being able to share pole with students worldwide who respect its roots in sex work means everything. The support from Redd and her team is unmatched in my 11 years of instructing, and the commitment to paying above industry standards is truly inspiring.”
-
“RLT has been incredible to be part of—especially as a sex worker. I felt supported from the start with clear communication around what I wanted to offer, and the community aspect was my favorite part. I also loved the flexibility to create a structure that works for me as a creator, and the pay split felt fair. I’d absolutely recommend RLT to other instructors in our industry.”
-
“Teaching my Every Body Drips workshop with Redd Light Therapy was such a joy! The platform made connecting with students effortless, and the team’s communication and support were incredible. It’s rare to find such an inclusive, empowering space that values creativity, clarity, and fair pay. I can’t wait to collaborate again!”
-
“Redd Light Therapy is the only online pole platform that’s made me feel truly valued and included. I’m supported, reposted, and treated like family—not judged by follower count. Payments are always on time, communication is transparent, and I feel free to teach what I know best. The community is diverse, professional, and empowering. I love teaching here and can’t wait for more!”
-
“Huge shoutout to @RLT for paying their instructors so well and making the entire teaching process so incredibly smooth and welcoming. HIGHLY recommend working with Redd and her team.”
-
“My experience teaching in RLT was nothing short of amazing. I sometimes am not the most tech savy person but Redd made it superrr easy. All I had to do was click the link, set my camera up and teach and she took care of the rest which was super convenient and took a lot of the stress and nerves off of me.”
-
“Such a well-thought-out process. I felt fully supported to focus on the art. Communication was clear and timely, and the structure made everything simple. This community fosters growth and positive energy, and I feel lucky to be part of it. For other instructors: ask your questions and enjoy your creativity.”

Workshop FAQ
-
For one-off guest workshops: no, but you must support SW and honor the roots of pole within your movement practice.
For core team / recurring classes: yes (active or retired SW, broadly defined). If you’re not SW, you’re still welcome to apply for workshops. -
We accept virtual workshops across pole, sensual movement, floorwork, flexibility, conditioning, embodiment, wellness, business education for dancers/SWers, and other specialty topics. If your offering is clear, teachable, and has a defined takeaway, it’s a good fit!
-
Clear title, clear outcomes, realistic level/prereqs, a strong description, and an effective strong promo plan that shows you can reach students.
-
You teach on Zoom. You’ll be spotlighted, and tech will be taken care of and explained before the workshop begins. You’ll just need a stable, reliable internet connection, good lighting, and a clear teaching setup. A microphone is helpful but not required.
-
We schedule workshops at least a month out so there’s enough promo time and time on the app to collect sign-ups. First, you fill out the workshop form. We’ll reply within about a week to confirm the details. You’ll then reply to confirm or request edits. After that, we’ll send our guest instructor contract + a 1099 form (for US instructors). Once those are complete, we can publish your workshop. Timeline and additional resources are provided during this process, and once your workshop is on the app you can begin promo ASAP.
-
Yes — you’ll submit multiple date/time options (in EST) in the form. We typically book workshops at least a month out so there’s enough time for promo and sign-ups.
-
You are expected to actively promote with the goal of filling the class. We require at least 2 posts on Instagram, collabed with @reddlighttherapy (more is encouraged). RLT designs and posts a branded flyer 2 weeks before your workshop, and we’ll promote it from the RLT Instagram account, but instructor marketing is required.
-
If your workshop goes amazing and we’re actively looking to fill core team spots, we’ll never say never — but we keep a small team right now to keep business operations sustainable.
-
You can choose your price. Most workshops land between $0–$50, but you can set your pricing based on length, niche, and value. Free workshops are possible too and often sell out — they’re a great way to connect with worldwide students, build online teaching experience, and master your craft. RLT will confirm your submitted price and details when we confirm the offering.
Workshops use a split (example: 60/40 or 50/50). You can request your proposed split in the workshop form, and we’ll confirm or request edits. Our max split for workshops is 60/40 (you/RLT) to reflect the backend work we handle (tech hosting, booking, customer communication, app updates, etc.). After the workshop ends, payouts are processed in USD based on total sign-ups and your selected payment method (PayPal, etc.). Once your offering is confirmed, you’ll receive the timeline for when to expect payment. -
Workshops are taught live on Zoom, and attendance is not required. Students can attend live or sign up to receive the recording. Recording is included with all sign-ups, and if someone wants access to the recording, they must book before the workshop happens. (We’ve made a rare one-time exception for students before, but it’s not something we offer regularly and it’s rarely requested.) text goes here
-
You set your preferred capacity cap (example: 15, 30, 50, 100+). Because every workshop includes lifetime access to the recording, many students don’t attend live — so higher capacity often means more sign-ups without necessarily meaning a bigger live Zoom room. Like in-person classes, every live class vibe is different: some are rowdy and hype, some are quiet, some are cameras-off, and sometimes you may have few or even no live students. Don’t worry — students will still enjoy your instruction through the recording.
-
Reschedules are possible but should be avoided once the workshop is live and being promoted. If an emergency happens, we’ll coordinate the best next step for you and your students.
